VHS tape containing footage shot at Senior Appreciation Day at the Light Guard Armory on September 20, 1999, including a speech given by Mayor Dennis Archer. After an introduction by another speaker, Archer discusses importance of senior citizens, and urges them to become mentors for children, and census volunteers. City Clerk Jackie Currie briefly takes the microphone to reiterate the census message. Archer continues to discuss the temporary MGM casino, police presence, and the need for Angel's Night volunteers. After a brief message from a member of the mayor's Senior Citizens' Commission and Janet Williams, the mayor leads the group in a dance.
The video is on a "Professional" T-60 tape labeled on the top and edge with the title. The tape is housed within a clear plastic case.
