Recycling Footage

VHS tape containing footage of Chene Ferry Recycling Center in the Chene-Ferry Market shot by a woman representing Barton Communications. This tape combines footage originally filmed on U-Matic tapes 2015.008.346 and 2015.008.347. A special event is occuring at the recycling center as it is decorated with balloons, a DJ plays music, and calls a raffle for flowers, and a Easter egg hunt occurs near the end of the tape for attending children. The camera woman shoots specific material areas and bins, close-ups of the recyclables within the bins, workers, individuals, and families at the event. A woman briefly talks to the camera woman about her opposition to the Greater Detroit Resource Recovery Facility, which stands in the background of several shots of the recycling center's parking lot. A WWJ reporter also appears to interview people, but the DJ's music drains out the dialogue.

The video is on a 3M T-30 "Broadcast" tape with a loose handwritten 3M top label. The tape is housed within a black plastic latching clamshell case, with a label on the cover.
