The Long Roll

One hardcover yearbook, "The Long Roll," from the Michigan Military Academy for 1892. The yearbook has a red and gray cloth cover with a gold-colored design on the front that is stamped along the diagonal and gold-colored script text that reads "The Long Roll." A drawing of a drum and a pair of drumsticks is shown near the lower right corner. It contains 102 pages of black printed text on white paper that give information about the academy, the names of yearbook editors, names of trustees, names of academic and military staff members, a daily schedule, and the names of cadets listed by company (A through D) as well as the band. Also included are the names of senior class members and the names of various team and club members. The back pages include a variety of poems and short stories. Several black and white photographic images are included throughout the yearbook. The last three pages show a "Roster of Cadets, 1891-1892" with names arranged alphabetically by last name. The city and state of residence are listed beside each cadet's name. The yearbook was printed by "Winn & Hammond, Makers, Detroit."
