Image on the front of the postcard is of "The Conspiracy of Pontiac: a mural by Gari Melchers (1860-1932) in Adam Strohm Hall, Main Library." Two soldiers in red and blue coats, each carrying a gun stand in front of stone steps. Up the steps Chief Pontiac holds his hand out toward Major Henry Gladwin. Gladwin stands in a red coat, black boots, his right hand resting on a table. Two soldiers stand behind him. Chief Pontiac has two feathers in his hair, and is wearing animal skins/furs. He has four Native American men behind him. Pontiac and Gladwin are in front of a brick fireplace, above the fireplace is a painting of an Englishman, likely King George III.
