Badge, Cap
One mail carrier's cap badge. The oval-shaped badge is made of stamped brass which has a nickel silver finish. It has an American Eagle at the top with raised text beneath that reads "U.S. Post Office, Detroit, Mich." and the number, "204." The badge has two metal eyes on the back with a long, detachable pin that has a spring clip on one end. Small raised text on the back of the badge reads "N. C. Walter & Sons, New York."
