Button, Uniform
One group of four buttons from a mail carrier uniform. The dome-shaped buttons are made of brass and have a raised image of a mail carrier who is walking and is holding several pieces of mail in his raised right hand. Raised letters along the bottom of the button show "POD" for Post Office Department. The back of each button has an eye for sewing thread for attachment onto a uniform. Stamped text on the back reads "Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co., Cinn., O."
