Cape

One woman's World War I uniform cape. The ankle-length, unlined cape is made of heavyweight wool fabric in a drab green color. It has a pointed collar with three button/loop closures at the neck and a strip of narrow gray fabric trim near the outer edge. Three large green bone buttons are located at the center front of the cape near the top and hand/arm openings are located at each side. A partially torn label on the inside back collar reads "H. J. Nicoll & Co., Ltd., 29-31 Rue Tronchet, Paris." Also included is a separate 1.75-inch wide x 68-inch long green wool belt (shoulder strap?) with a button fastening.
