Pitcher, Cream

One small cream pitcher (single serving size) from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Saguenay, of Canada Steamship Lines. The pitcher is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a small open top with a slightly curved spout, a rounded top edge, and a tall curved, gold-colored handle on the side that has a flat thumb rest. The gently-curved sides flare outward to form a rounded bottom with a circular base. A decorative multi-color band with a small leaf/floral pattern encircles the pitcher at the top of the handle. A decorative multi-color wreath/torch/bow design is located beneath the band at the spout along with floral swags and garlands that encircle the pitcher. The underside is stamped with a green logo and text that reads "W. G. & Co., Limoges, France." Additional red text reads "Wm. Guerin & Co., Limoges, France."
