Plate, Butter
One small butter plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Vermont, of the Lake Champlain Transportation Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has short curved sides with a rounded top edge. A decorative multicolor company emblem is stamped on the top surface of the plate near the edge. Small text along the bottom of the emblem reads "Champlain Transportation Company." No manufacturer's name or marks are shown.
