Plate, Dessert

One dessert plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Vermont, of the Lake Champlain Transportation Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A decorative multicolor company emblem is stamped on the top surface of the rim. Small text along the bottom of the emblem reads "Champlain Transportation Company." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "O.P. Co. [Onondaga Pottery Company], Syracuse China," and "F-12."
