Plate, Butter

One small butter plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Tashmoo, of the White Star Line. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has short curved sides with a rounded top edge. A small green bead and bow design is stamped on the top surface in a scalloped arrangement along the curved sides. A small green image of the company flag with the letters, "WSL," is stamped at the center of the plate. The underside is stamped with a diamond mark that has the number, "88," inside.
