Sauceboat

One small sauceboat from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Tashmoo, of the White Star Line. The narrow, oval-shaped sauceboat is made of white glazed china. It has an open top, a long spout, gently-curved sides, a curved handle with a green floral band on the outside, and an oval-shaped base. A small green bead and bow design is stamped on the sides in a scalloped arrangement. Also, a small green image of the company flag with the letters, "WSL," is stamped at the center of one side. No manufacturer's name or marks are shown.
