Plate, Dessert
One dessert plate from the bulk carrier, SS E. J. BLOCK, of the Inland Steel Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A wide red stripe encircles the rim at the midpoint. At a break in the stripe, the company logo is shown on a smokestack. The underside is stamped with a green logo that depicts a seated Indian and green text that reads "Shenango China, New Castle, PA."
