Plate, Dinner
One dinner plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Aquarama, of the Michigan-Ohio Navigation Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a narrow, flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A large red letter, "A," is stamped on one side of the plate near the rim. A gray/white image of a seagull in flight has been superimposed over the letter. The underside is stamped with dark green text that reads "Syracuse China, U.S.A., 89."
