Plate, Dinner
One dinner plate from a passenger steamship dining room of the Clarke Steamship Company. The plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china and has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A continuous, multi-color, Arctic waters scene is printed along the entire rim. A rising/setting sun at the top shows text that reads "Labrador Cruise." Stamped black text on the underside of the plate reads "Duraline, Super Vitrified, Grindley Hotelware Co., England," and "Cassidy's, Ltd., Montreal, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto."
