Platter
One platter from a dining room of one of the Lake Michigan car ferries of the Pere Marquette Railway. The oval-shaped platter is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. Narrow blue stripes encircle the rim along the outer and inner edges. A blue image of one of the company ferries is stamped at the center of the platter along with blue text that reads "Pere Marquette." The underside is stamped with blue text that reads "Buffalo China."
