World War II poster with the messages, "Work on a farm ... this Summer. Join the U.S. Crops Corps. See Your U.S. Employment Service or Your Local County Agent." The poster shows a color drawing of the man and woman who are dressed in white work shirts and blue overalls. The man is carrying a pitchfork and the woman is holding a basket of fresh-picked vegetables. The artist's name, [Morgan] Douglas, is shown near the lower right corner of the drawing. Small printed text along the bottom edge of the poster shows "OWI Poster No. 59. Additional copies may be obtained upon request from the Division of Public Inquiries, Office of War Information, Washington, D.C." and "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1943-O-520467." The poster is mounted in a black wood frame with a white matte and glass.
