World War II poster with the message, "Avenge December 7." The upper area of the poster shows a color drawing of a U.S. Navy sailor with an upraised right arm. The lower area of the poster shows a dark scene from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The artist's name, "Bernard Perlin," is shown in the lower right corner of the drawing. Small printed text along the bottom edge of the poster shows "OWI Poster No. 15. Additional copies may be obtained upon request from the Division of Public Inquiries, Office of War Information, Washington, D. C." and "U. S. Government Printing Office: 1942-O-491978." The poster is mounted in a black wood frame with a white matte and glass.
