Partial ship's wheel: five spokes and two parts of the outer ring of the ship's wheel are stabilized on a grid shaped mounting. All are dissembled except the larger portion of the ring and one spoke. Recovered from the wreck of the early freighter EBER WARD, which sank in the straits of Mackinac on April 20, 1909, with five lives lost.
