One color photograph of a shore to barge ramp system. The photo shows a view along the entire surface of the ramp. The system consists of a heavy-duty portable ramp (seen at the shoreline in the foreground) and a fixed ramp that was constructed on the deck of a barge (seen in the background). A truck wheel stop can be seen at the far end of the ramp surface. The ramp system was probably used to transport heavy equipment and/or bulk cargo (sand, aggregate) via truck from the shore onto a barge or other vessel. The date, "Mar., 85," is printed in small white text in the lower right corner of the photo.
