One composite color photograph of a shore to barge ramp system. The photo shows a profile view of a heavy-duty portable ramp (left) which is joined to a steel ramp that has been constructed on the deck of a barge (right). The ramp system was probably used to transport heavy equipment and/or bulk cargo (sand, aggregate) via truck from the shore onto a barge or other vessel. Floating debris is visible on the water in the lower left foreground and the barge deck is visible in the lower right foreground. The date, "Mar., 85," is printed in small white text in the lower right corner of the photo.
