One color photograph of two overflow standpipes in the hold of a barge. The slanted interior sides of the hold can be seen at the lower left and right corners of the photo. A vertical bulkhead with two short access walkways and control valves can be seen in the background along with the two standpipes which have circular coarse screen grates at the top. The top of the barge deck and a lake surface can be seen in the background. (Possibly, this barge was used to collect dredged material where earth and stone would settle to the bottom of the barge hold and water could flow out over the tops of the standpipes.)
