One sepia-toned photograph of the bulk carrier, A. H. FERBERT, at the Great Lakes Engineering Works shipyard in River Rouge, Michigan. The photo shows a port side view of the stem and bow of the ship as it rests in the slipway prior to launch. A decorated and covered platform for the viewing and ceremonial launching of the ship is visible near the lower stem. Various dignitaries and guests are standing on the platform and at the base of the steps. A black ink stamp at the lower right edge of the photo reads "Leon A.
