The photo shows a view of the barge which is working in the East River in the vicinity of 63rd Street, Manhattan. The crane barge can be seen in the foreground along with a dump scow that is moored to it. A drill boat is visible in the background as well as the Queens shoreline. The approach to the Queensboro Bridge can be seen at the upper right corner area of the photo. Handwritten blue ink text on the verso reads "Dunbar II and drill boat, JR 880, East River, NY, NY."
