One color photograph of a small floating dry dock owned by the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The dry dock has long, rectangular-shaped steel float chambers on each side and an open, channel-like section at the center. The dry dock is tied to the side of a crane barge and two workmen are standing on one of the float chambers. Portable water pumps are being to used to fill one of the float chambers which is sinking and is now partially awash. A shoreline is visible in the background.
