Print, Photographic

One black and white photograph (and negative) of workmen and officials who were part of a review/investigation of the previously-sunken tugboat, SACHEM, of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The tugboat, which sank on Lake Erie in December, 1950, was raised and was returned to a dock at Dunkirk, New York. The nighttime photo shows a group of workmen and officials who are standing on the deck of a crane barge adjacent to the raised tugboat and appear to be looking at various items that were recovered from the tugboat.
