One color photograph of a Canadian self-unloader steamship which had run aground. The photo shows a view across the deck of the ship which appears to be located in the channel at the Nicholson Terminal & Dock Company facility in Ecorse, Michigan. A crane barge and scow from the Faust Corporation are moored alongside and are performing lightering work (removing coal) in order to raise the grounded vessel. The Nicholson Terminal buildings and USS Great Lakes Steel plant are visible in the background.
