One sepia-toned photograph of a group of 21 powerboats that were built by the Richardson Boat Company of North Tonawanda, New York. The view looks across a harbor or canal and shows the bows of the wooden powerboats which are moored side by side at the Richardson Boat Co., Inc., dock. Parked cars can be seen along the shoreline in the background as well as covered powerboats in drydock, trees, a crane, and the boat factory buildings. An adhesive paper label in the upper left corner has black typewritten text that reads "Richardson Sailaway Cruise, North Tonawanda to New York City, 1931. 100% Gray [marine engine] powered."
