Construction is occurring on the east side of Washington, a sign for Wabash Portland Cement is hung on scaffolding; a sign for Bryant and Detwiler Company Contractors is also affixed to the facade of the construction site. Adjacent to the construction is Wright and Company Photographers, and the Charlesworth Optical Company. Written on the verso, "Washington Ave., east side, looking north, Grand River to Clifford."
