Print. Black and white photographic print of the southwest corner of Library Street and Grand River Avenue, taken from the northeast corner of Library Street, and is looking toward the deconstruction of the Newcomb-Endicott Building. Signage affixed to the scaffolding reads, "THE GREATER HUDSON'S STORE, SIXTEEN STORIES PLANED TO GIVE GREATER SERVICE." A dump truck is parked on Library Street adjacent to the rubble chute. The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store building is visible in the background. The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "87236." Also, the name of the photography studio and their geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit."
