Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing an interior view of the Detroit Edison River Rouge electric power plant. The image shows a boiler being raised with two heavy block and tackle assemblies inside the power plant building. The top of the building is open to daylight and the interior area is surrounded by dense network of structural steel beams and columns as well as pipes, catwalks, cables, and fittings.
