Houses can be seen in the background as well as a crane with a concrete bucket. The name, "W. J. Storen Co., Detroit," is painted on the side of the crane. Handwritten text on the photo album page shows "Pouring Concrete for S. Abut. [Abutment] Footing - Brush [St.], 12-15-42."
