Photograph. Black and white photo of the Davison Freeway under construction. The view looks northward and shows a section of reinforcing bars for bridge construction at Third Avenue. The earth embankment in the background is lightly covered with snow so the picture was probably taken early in 1942. The Cadillac Tire Company building can be seen in the left background and several houses can be seen in the right background. Handwritten text on the verso shows "C. W. Pascoe, 657 Stemson [Stimson], apt. 5, Detroit."
