Photograph. Black and white photo of the Davison Freeway under construction. The view shows steel workers who are working on scaffolding as they place reinforcing bars for bridge construction at Third Avenue. The earth embankment in the background is lightly covered with snow so the picture was probably taken early in 1942. Several houses are also visible in the background. A blue ink stamp on the verso shows "Reinforced Steel Wkrs., Local Union 426."
