Fire Boat for Detroit, Michigan
One blueprint drawing entitled, "Fire Boat for Detroit, Michigan." The drawing shows a port side interior profile view and main deck plan view of the proposed fireboat. A cross-section view of the hull lines is also shown along with a table of general dimensions. The title block in the upper center area shows that the drawing was prepared by "William Cowles, Constructing Engineer and Naval Architect." It was drawn at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated July 16, 1892. A black ink stamp with handwritten text in the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 57-59-0-3, Tube No. 1."
