One blueprint drawing entitled, "Steamer, 'South American,' Chicago, Duluth & Georgian Bay Transit Company." The drawing shows a starboard side exterior profile view of the ship along with a plan view of the main deck. The title block in the lower center area of the sheet shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Great Lakes Engineering Works, Detroit, Mich., 1914." The drawing (no. 25 102) is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. A date stamp near the lower right corner shows "Feb. 17, 1943."
