Facilities, Installations, Detroit 1968

Large format 22 page booklet published as part of Detroit's 1968 Summer Olympic bid. The book is written in both English and French, and contains information, maps, photographs, and illustrations of the city's sports facilities, both existing and proposed including a main stadium to be built on the State Fair Grounds, Cobo Hall and Convention Arena, the Light Guard Armory, Olympia Stadium, Brodhead Armory, the University of Detroit Stadium and Field House, a proposed rowing and canoeing facility either on Belle Isle or along Lake St. Clair, Brennan Pools, the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club, the proposed Olympic Village in Wayne State University, a proposed velodrome on the Michigan State Fair Grounds, and a proposed shooting range located at one of four unnamed locations. "Created and produced by MacManus, John & Adam, Inc., 1963," is printed on the bottom of the last page.
