Monroe Harbor, Michigan
One navigational chart entitled, "Monroe Harbor, Michigan," that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (Corps of Engineers, U. S. Lake Survey). The chart is a polyconic projection and is drawn at a scale of 1:20,000. It shows the approach channel to the mouth of the River Raisin at Monroe Harbor, factory buildings, highways, and streets in downtown Monroe as well as the adjacent Michigan shoreline of Lake Erie from Brest Bay to La Plaisance Bay. The chart details and text are printed in black and red ink on white paper. Marsh areas are printed in blue. Chart details include water depths in feet, course and range bearings, distances in statute miles, lines of latitude and longitude, buoys, and lighthouses. Printed text in the lower left corner shows "Edition of November, 1955."
