One production art drawing for a Belle Jacob wig shops newspaper advertisement in the Detroit News. The drawing, by Jeanne Shower, shows a pencil sketch on vellum paper that depicts a right profile view of the head of a young woman. The vellum paper is mounted on white art board. She is wearing the "Schatzi" wig model that was designed by Belle Jacob. Several handwritten pencil notes on the lower edge read "Return to V. Spencer after Velox is made," and "Belle Jacob, 12/16, Det. News Women's." The final version of the drawing appeared in the accompanying Belle Jacob advertisement as shown in the Detroit News.
