Dittrich 8108A
One production art drawing for Dittrich Furs newspaper advertisements in the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News. The drawing, by Jeanne Shower, shows a mixed media (pencil and ink) sketch of a young woman on white art board. She is smiling, has a voluminous hair style, and is shown in a standing pose with her body wrapped in a thick, full-length fur coat. A light gray background with white snowflakes is shown along the top and right sides of the drawing. Several handwritten pencil notes on the right side read "Dittrich 8108A, narrow collar, not pointed, neck too far down, more regal look." The final revised versions of the drawing appeared in Dittrich Furs advertisements as seen in the accompanying Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News newspaper clippings.
