Mackinaw Boat, "Wabesi"
One plan sheet for the "Mackinaw Boat, 'Wabesi.'" The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a plan and profile view of a 26' 5.75" long fishing boat with a wood hull, two masts for sails, and a centerboard. A note beneath the title block shows "Built by Shaney at St. Ignace, Mich., about 1845. Owned by Joseph Osogwin of Hessel, Mich." A note near the lower left corner shows "Dimensions and lines taken off in 1933." A note near the lower right corner shows "Drawn by Oliver A. Birge, 1936." It is drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot.
