Letter
One carbon copy letter, dated March 30, 1931, from Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. to Major D. McCoach of the Corps of Engineers. The typewritten letter is an application for a permit to place fill and riprap around Stony Island an references a similar previous permit that was issued in 1925. A blueprint drawing is also included which provides a cross-section detail and shows the area of proposed fill work.
