Bank of Macomb County

One $1 bank note "No. 3177" from the Bank of Macomb County. The note is printed in red and black ink on white paper and features engraved images of the note amount as a number, "1," and spelled out as "One." Four engraved images at the top and sides depict scenes of agriculture, shipping, and a bountiful harvest. Decorative engraved text reads "The Bank of Macomb County Will Pay One Dollar on demand to T. K. Adam or bearer. Mt. Clemens, Apr. 1, 1858." The note is signed by "R. E. Graves, Cshr. [Cashier]" and "P. Kibbee, Prest. [President]." No text or images are printed on the verso.
