Postcard

Sepia-toned postcard bearing an image of the photographed heads of two men, the one on the left wearing a top hat, and the one on the right wearing a women's broad brimmed hat with flours on top, superimposed on the cartoon bodies of people riding airships. "Detroit Air Line" is printed across the airship on the right. A handwritten note on the verso suggests that the figures are, "believed to be Charles Waltensperger (right) and Joseph Gies (left). The verso is divided and includes the printed mark, "Cornell Studio, Detroit, Mich."
