Belle Isle Bridge Fire, April 27, 1915

Black and white postcard depicting the Belle Isle Bridge, in the aftermath of the fire, as viewed from the west. Amid the columns, only one truss remains near the center of the frame. An insert in the upper left corner provides a view along the remains of the length of the bridge. Rubble sits in the water near the closest column. A single truss is in the distance. "W.D. Benham Co., Detroit, Mich." printed on verso.
