One softcover report entitled "Proposed Generalized Land Use Plan, City of Detroit - A Master Plan Report, No. 5 of a Series." The report has a dark green cover with white title text. The 72-page report looks across the city with regard to future growth and planning for residential neighborhoods, parks, retail shop areas, and industrial areas. Maps and photographs are included with the discussions. Pages 19 and 20 have maps which show the various expansions of the city limits. A foldout color-coded master plan map is attached to the inside back cover. The report was issued by the City Plan Commission and was dated May, 1947.
