U-Matic S tape containing footage shot at a press conference announcing Amoco's involvement in raising funds for the Detroit Recreation Department's Partners Program to help children attend summer camp through the sale of "Do It In Detroit" drinking glasses at their gas stations. The event is held at the Amoco Station on the southwest corner of Jefferson Avenue and Montclair Street. The tape begins with Rudy Johnson speaking on behalf of the Metro Detroit Area Amoco Dealers briefly discussing the glass promotion. He presents Tina Bassett with two glasses, then she takes the microphone to explain that she is appearing on behalf of Mayor Coleman A. Young, who was suddenly unable to attend. She also explains the promotion. The man then reappears to present Bassett with a check for $1200 to go toward the Partners Program. There are several cuts during the press conference, and the camera operator spends some of the time changing lenses and framing the scene. After the press conference, Bassett poses for photos with the check and glasses, and the camera captures several shots of the station's signage.

Following the Amoco footage, a test pattern appears and the sounds of the Tiny Wheeler Relay race--series of races between children on Big Wheel tricycles on Belle Isle--can be heard. At one point, Sammy Davis Jr.'s "Hello Detroit" is played as the children race. The event was part of the "Do It In Detroit" campaign.
