One dessert or ice cream dish from a passenger steamship dining room of the Northern Navigation Company fleet. The oval-shaped dish is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has curved sides and a narrow, rounded rim. At the center of one of the long sides, a black image of the company flag/logo is stamped with small black text that reads "Northern Navigation Co., Limited." The underside is stamped with green text that reads "Vitrified, Wood & Sons, England," and "Gowans Kent & Co., Ltd., Toronto."
