Plate, Bread
One bread or salad plate from the dining room of the SS John Dykstra of the Ford Motor Company steamship fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight, off-white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a rounded edge and a narrow gray stripe. Just below the stripe, gray script text inside an oval shows the name, "Ford." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Shenango China, New Castle, PA, U.S.A." and "Interface, A, I-36."
