One bread or salad plate from the dining rooms of the Ford Motor Company steamship fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight, off-white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a rounded outer edge and a narrow, dark green stripe along the inside edge. Just above the stripe, dark green script text shows the name, "Ford." A dark green engraved image of the Ford Rotunda is shown at the center of the plate. The underside is stamped with green text that reads "Shenango China, New Castle, PA, U.S.A." and "RimRol WelRoc, T/M R-13."
